They have been featured in many magazines such as Martha Stewart Living, Country Home, Better Homes & Gardens, and Southern Living. The farm is owned by Mark Elmore and his wife Helen Norman and their son Peter is the farm manager.
Dr. Gene L. Swackhamer grew up on a corn and hog farm in Indiana. He earned degrees in agriculture and agriculture economics from Purdue University and Cornell University. He went on to have a long career as an agricultural economist, researcher, and as a leader in farm credit and banking. Following this Peter Elmore will discuss Star Bright Farm and lead a short tour of production beds, equipment, their distillery of herb oils and more!
